![]() ![]() PMCs that spawn to north center may have Outskirt extract. Outskirts which is located in bottom SW of the map is for all PMCs that spawn on the Eastern/N Eastern side of the map. PMCs have 3 extracts that are always open and have no conditional requirements to use. ![]() Woods is considered a specialty map around the community. Despite the large size of the map plenty of firefights will happen under 40m around POIs. Woods is generally made up of low level players doing early game tasks and then run as a niche pvp map for later levels. The N and NE have an impassable river along the border, and the E and SE has impassable mountain and fence borders. The SW to NW western borders are surrounded by minefields plus sniper scavs. Woods consists of 4 large POIs and 5 medium POIs. There are 2.5 road systems, one runs up the middle from North to South and then 2 roads run west to east but converse into one system at the center of the map before run NE. Most of the map consists of rolling hills and scattered forests. Woods is the largest map currently released in Tarkov and features a large mountain in the middle of the map which is flanked by a smaller mountain due west. Yes, I am aware that maps are orientated differently in-game but if you want to know more, ask me in discord. All cardinal directions will be based on the orientation of the mapgenie maps. In the forums you can find specific loot runs for these maps but at the bottom of the post I will touch on a few simple raids. This guide will briefly touch on a few quest locations and spawn points but by no means will this comprehensively cover PVP or PVE aspects. Right at the east of Woods, there's a rock formation before reaching the road that goes to the Old Sawmill. Stand near it.įrom Jaeger's Camp, go to the east a few steps. Near one of the pillars, there's a white blanket. Walk towards it.Ĭhecking where the train railway ends, you'll find an abandoned gas station. ![]() On the southeastern side of the map, there's a grey gate with "EVAC" written on it. On your right will be a red gate - that's the extraction point. Yes, green flares need to be at the extraction point.įrom the previous point, follow the road to the east until you find a train railway. On the south of Woods, to the east of the lake, there's the beginning of a road with a wall, a vehicle, and a tent around. There's a stash that works as the extraction point. Go to the south of it and find a small passage inside. ![]() Go near it.Īt the center of Woods, a bit to the east, there's a huge rock formation called Cave. Just a few steps north of the previous point, there's a short bridge. If you walk north a bit from Outskirts Water, you'll find some works and a dead body. Simply go to the beginning of it.įrom Outskirts, go to the east until you reach the lake. This is on the road that starts in the southwest area of Woods. This is a cabin surrounded by a wooden fence right on the southwest side of the map. Yes, there have to be green flares and you also need to have a ZB-014 Key. On the west side of the map, moving to the south, you'll find a big rock with an underground passage. West to the Bridge Overlook, there's a radio tower. You'll see a dark green container with a skull and a white arrow on it. Right at the north end of the map, past the Abandoned Village. ![]()
