![]() ![]() reflashing the ECU's on my bikes is worth it. I also have a FZ10 and had that ecu reflashed by 2wheeldynoworks, cause IVAN does not have a flash for the FZ10,YET.And it was worth every penny. I even decided not to get the 30th pulley untill I ride this set up for awhile. So I decided to get the power flow again and ill remove the front screen like I did on my previous 2011 stryker and will also be useing the cobra auto tune for a complete package to go along with the cobra sweepers. Matter of fact I talked to him thursday about which cobra air intake flowed better out of the two they sell and he said they both will give you 11hp. 142mph! I just bought a 2015 Stryker Cowling and as soon as I pick it up ill be sending my ECU to him. Then I sold them and had my 2014 Raider reflashed by Ivan, cant say I noticed much of a difference on that bike, but mainley I wanted the red line extended so I can easly toast hardleys on the top end. Well IVAN reflashed my 2009 Midnight Warrior and my 2011 Stryker when I had them and it was as smooth as silk on the highway, in fact it was uncanny smooth since I had owned a previous Warrior when they first came out in 2002 and Ivan didnt reflash them at the time and it vibrated pretty good. Maybe something to look into once your bank account builds up again I've done multi-week trips with it, in 80mph highway riding in places like Montana, and it seems to get even smoother at high speed, less air on my face. (haven't had that kind of thing happen since I had my Valkyrie with a monster windscreen on it) I can look over the top of it regular riding, and slouch a little in the rain to get right out of the wet. I did that with regular, non-sealed, prescription glasses, and my eyes don't even water. I just got back from a 50+ KM ride, top speed of 130km/h on the highway, no problem. Drew a template line 1.5 inches lower all along the top curve and they cut it down. Took it to a local plastic shop after I taped the entire thing in painter's tape. Too tall - I was looking through the plastic at the road, and that was no good. I bought the Yamaha Stryker tall windscreen. I soothe my aching wallet remembering all the times in my life I spent that much as a young guy trying to impress women with clothes, booze and fancy restaurants (now THAT was a complete waste lol!) I too love the mod, and got mine flashed when the dollar was better. I think im ok with the purchase, and I will be in a better mood once my headache goes away from the intense paint shaker head I got from the wind. I could have put that towards other things rather then CORRECTING manufacturer coding. For 350$ its a no brainer, but for 600$ it's still a tough pill to swallow. Once you get it twisted it is much better. Im not sure where to make the adjustments on it?! At low speed it is very sensitive and rigid. At the bottom it almost sits kinda stuck/ and its too tense. when I put my head behind it closely it went away, but in my regular comfortable seating position it was a pure nightmare.ĥ. Funny how a windscreen can ruin your ride, I had a similar experience on my Vulcan 900 with a screen that was made for a shorter person. No way I can send it back, so looks like that was 150$ down the tube. I was already too far out of town to remove so I just did my test ride and came back. I had great hopes for this one, but the fit isnt great, and the buffetting almost had me vomiting. I am 6'2 and in my entire years of bike riding I have never found a good windscreen. I fitted it up and got it all set up as good as I could, and once I got out onto the busy highway the buffetting was turning my head into a paint mixer. I had purchased an SlipStreamer SS20 stealth windscreen. (Bike orig had VH exhaust and spike filter) I removed exhaust for comfort reasons and runningj OEM with the spike filter though. I realy want to know the 1/4 mile time with the higher RPMs and mods. The bike is a very fast and feels like it's ready to just take off and go. I wish I had my M109 still because with the lighter weight the modded Stryker would NOT be too far behind. Power builds FAST and the 0-100km/h time has to be a lot quicker. I live in Canada., After shipping and taxes and USD conversion this came out to ALMOST 600$. ![]()
